Selectmen Minutes
December 17, 2024
Present: Chet Bowles, Rich Dufresne, Jonathan Shomody
Trustees of the Trust Funds: Rory Goff, John LaDue, Jeff Osgood
Call to order by Chet Bowles at 4:30 pm.
The Board and the Trustees of the Trust Funds met to review the classification of trust funds. Goff explained that the State is requiring funds be categorized into 4 types: Taxpayer funds – capital reserve or trust; Donated funds – income (only income from the fund may be spent), expendable (both principal and income may be spent).
Goff supplied handouts with a copy of the email from the State, a list of all funds, a copy of the last MS-9 report, and comments on any funds.
The funds were reviewed and a determination of which category the fund should be in.
Review of a request for a transfer from the Assessing Reserve Fund. Motion to approve a request for a transfer from the Assessing Reserve Fund in the amount of $8,652.00 (Bowles/Dufresne). All in favor, motion carried.
Motion to approve payroll for 12/17/2024 (Bowles/Dufresne). All in favor, motion carried.
