Discussion about transferring the website to .gov. Rory Goff told the Board that the argument for transferring to .gov would make everything more official, and organizations may feel more secure with .gov emails. The cost of moving the website is $50.00. CharlesWorks would take care of the migration.. The cost of website hosting will stay the same. The cost of emails is more complicated, the town would get 4 emails at no cost, additional emails are $6.49/month. Shomody asked about interoperability. Bowles said the perception may be that .gov emails may be more secure. The Board may be in favor, but cost may guide the transition. The TA will look at the costs.

Gina Goff spoke to the Board about the historic cemeteries. Ms. Goff recognized the Cemetery Committee for the work done on the rules and regulations. Ms. Goff asked the Board to close the “historic portions of the Jarmany Hill Road Cemetery and McCoy Road Cemetery. Dufresne said the he appreciated Ms. Goff bringing this to the Board’s attention. He thinks it might be short-sighted to close the McCoy Road Cemetery, and this needs more thought and consideration. Bowles asked why the town would not allow burials if it was a family plot. Karen Dufresne suggested that new monuments would change the look of the cemeteries.
