Planning Board Minutes
February 13, 2024
Present: Jeff Osgood, Bill Joyner, Gerry DeBonis, Sara Tobias, Diane Callahan
Call to order by Jeff Osgood at 6:01 pm
Motion to approve the minutes of 1/9/2024 (DeBonis/Tobias). All in favor, motion carried.
Mr. Osgood passed around copies of the ballot for the proposed changes to the zoning ordinance for review. Ms. Tobias asked about the difference between a minor subdivision and a subdivision. It was explained that any subdivision of land is a subdivision, but small 2 to 3 lots is considered “minor:.
Mr. Osgood passed around copies of the 2023 report for the town report for review.
Discussion about Elizabeth Preston’s farm stand at 40 Nashua Road. Ms. Preston needs to apply for site plan review, the Board is waiting for the application.
Mr. DeBonis has questions about a shed that is located within the 100’ setback. He thinks that someone needs to contact the Select Board so they can take action. Mr. DeBonis doesn’t think there is a good policy in place for enforcement. Mr. Joyner said that some towns have an enforcement person who doesn’t live in that town, there is a cost issue involved in this. There was discussion about asking the Select Board to create a policy.
Voting for Town Offices and the zoning changes is Tuesday, March 12, 2024. The Planning Board meeting will be changed to Wednesday, March 13, 2024.
