Selectmen Minutes
September 17, 2024
Present: Rich Dufresne, Jonathan Shomody
Call to order by Rich Dufresne at 5:31 pm.
Motion to approve the minutes of 9/3/2024 (Shomody/Dufresne). All in favor, motion carried.
Motion to approve the 9/17/2024 payroll and manifest (Shomody/Dufresne). All in favor, motion carried.
Cemetery Committee: changes have been made to the proposed rules and regulations and sent to the Committee for review. This will be put on the 10/1/2024 agenda. Savron Graphics will produce the “deed book” and proofs will be sent to Mr. Dufresne.
Improvement list will be put on the 10/1/2024 agenda. Motion to approve the cost of pelletized lime, not to exceed $15.00 (Dufresne/Shomody). All in favor, motion carried
Mr. Dufresne thanked the “Sharing in Sharon” committee for sponsoring the potluck on 9/15/24. Everyone who attended seemed to have a good time.
Building Maintenance: Discussion about having the septic pumped, need to find out the size of the tank in order to get quotes. The TA will ask Gina Goff to find the plans. The water tests have been sent out for analysis, waiting for the results.
Karen Shea Dufresne suggested having a “spruce up” day for the School House in the spring of 2025. Suggested that the “Sharing in Sharon” group could plan this.
