Selectmen Minutes
January 21, 2025
Present: Chet Bowles, Rich Dufresne, Jonathan Shomody
Call to order by Chet Bowles at 5:30 pm.
Motion to approve the 1/7/2025 minutes (Bowles/Dufresne). All in favor, motion carried.
Motion to approve 1/21/2025 payroll and manifest (Bowles/Dufresne). All in favor, motion carried.
Signed a letter for Comcast to the State of NH regarding a new grant. Motion to approve the letter to State of NH (Bowles/Dufresne). All in favor, motion carried.
Motion to approve the Total Notice contract for 2025 (Dufresne/Bowles). All in favor, motion carried.
Motion to approve the Yield Tax Warrant for Harris Construction (Bowles/Shomody). All in favor, motion carried.
The Select Board will be meeting with the Attorney on Thursday, 1/23/2025, regarding the Harris Construction appeal to the ZBA of the cease & desist order. Motion to nominate Beth Fernald as an alternate to the ZBA (Bowles/Dufresne). All in favor, motion carried. No date for a site visit to the Harris Construction property. No report from the engineer regarding the size and amount excavated as of this date.
Rory Goff:
The Trustees of the Trust Funds have submitted the MS-9 to the State.
Submitted requests for the Board to review – emergency text program, water filtration system, and Meeting House maintenance.
Ken Callahan:
Submitted an updated version of the list with Meeting House and School House improvements.
Spoke to the Board about adding $500.00 to the Archive budget for “decoration of the Meeting House”. The Board agreed to add this money.
