Hazard Mitigation Plan Update
Comment PeriodThe Sharon Hazard Mitigation Plan serves as a means to reduce future losses from natural or man-made hazard events before they occur. By maintaining an updated Hazard Mitigation Plan every five years, the Town is eligible to receive grant funding for mitigation projects. The latest update was developed by the Sharon Hazard Mitigation Work Group with help from Southwest Region Planning Commission (SWRPC).
The Draft Hazard Mitigation Plan Update is available for public comment from Tuesday, March 4, through Friday, April 4, 2025
A printed copy is available at the Town Office on Tuesday and Thursdays from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
An electronic copy of the entire plan is also available now via the Town’s website (sharonnh.org), by using this link.
