Planning Board Minutes
September 10, 2024
Present: Jeff Osgood, Gerry DeBonis, Sara Tobias, Rich Dufresne
Call to order by Jeff Osgood at 6:05 pm
Motion to approve the minutes of 8/13/2024 (Tobia/Dufresne). All in favor, motion carried.
Review of the Grouleau subdivision moved to the October 2024 meeting.
RV ordinance the public hearing will be 10/8/2024 at 6:00 pm with the regular meeting immediately following.
Discussion about the farm stand on Jarmany Hill Road. Mr. Dufresne informed the Board that the BOS had discussed this, does not see a safety issue, and does not see any basis for them to take any action unless there was a site plan that is not being followed. Discussion about the Jarmany Hill Rd and Rte 123 intersection, also about the difference between the Preston and Faucher farm stands. The Preston farm stand was in the set back, and a complaint was filed.
Mr. Osgood handed out an updated table of contents on the current zoning ordinance for the Board to review. Mr. Osgood asked the Board to consider rearranging the articles in the zoning to create a more uniform flow, this would need a public hearing and a warrant article.
Spoke with Don Carreara about an alternate position for the Board. Motion to nominate Don Carrera as an alternate to the Planning Board (Tobias/Dufresne). All in favor, motion carried.
